- Stop retinoids, acids and exfoliants 5 days before
- Avoid tanning, sunbeds and sunburn for 2 weeks
- Tell us if you get cold sores, as you may need antiviral tablets first
- Arrive with clean skin, free of make-up
Aftercare
- Treated skin darkens, then flakes away over several days. Leave it to shed on its own
- Use the gentle cleanser and moisturiser we recommend
- Skip make-up for 24 to 48 hours, or until flaking finishes after higher energies
- Wear SPF 50 daily and avoid strong sun
- Avoid saunas and intense exercise for 48 hours
