Who we are

PureSkin Medical Cosmetics (“PureSkin”, “we”, “us”) is an aesthetics clinic at 11 Welbeck Street, London, W1G 9XZ. We decide how and why your personal data is used, which makes us the data controller under UK data protection law (UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018).

The data we collect

• Contact details: your name, phone number and email address.
• Enquiry details: the treatment or course you ask about and any message you send us.
• Booking and payment records: appointment dates, deposits and payments. Card details go straight to our payment provider; we never see or store them.
• Health information: your medical history, consultation notes, consent forms and treatment records.
• Photographs: clinical before and after photos, taken only with your consent.

Health information is special category data. We process it only to assess whether a treatment is safe for you and to provide your care, and we keep it confidential to the clinical team.

How we use your data

• To answer your enquiry and arrange a consultation or course. Lawful basis: steps taken at your request before a contract.
• To provide treatment safely and keep clinical records. Lawful basis: contract, and for health data, the provision of health care.
• To take deposits and payments. Lawful basis: contract.
• To send offers or news, only if you ask us to. Lawful basis: consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
• To meet legal, insurance and accounting duties. Lawful basis: legal obligation.

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for automated decisions about you.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of trusted providers to run the clinic. Each one processes your data on our instructions:

• Fresha: online booking, appointment reminders and client reviews.
• Stripe: deposit and card payments.
• WhatsApp (Meta): messages you choose to send us on WhatsApp.
• NuvenarHub: our client relationship system, which stores website enquiries.
• Google Workspace: clinic email.
• Our website host, on servers in the European Union.

Some providers store data outside the UK. When they do, they protect it with UK-approved safeguards such as the International Data Transfer Agreement or an adequacy decision.

Cookies

This website sets no advertising or analytics cookies. The map on our contact page loads from Google only when you tap to open it, and Google may set its own cookies at that point.

How long we keep your data

• Enquiries that do not lead to a booking: up to 2 years, then deleted.
• Clinical and treatment records: 8 years after your last treatment, in line with guidance for adult medical records.
• Payment and accounting records: 6 years, as tax law requires.

Your rights

You can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or move it to another provider. Contact us at info@pureskinuk.co.uk or +44 7592 546878. We reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Bookings, deposits and cancellations

• Standard bookings need a deposit, which comes off your treatment price on the day.
• Special offer bookings need a refundable deposit of £10, which holds your slot and comes off the offer price.
• Please give at least 3 days’ notice to cancel or move an appointment. Late cancellations and missed appointments may be charged in full, and a standard deposit is kept.
• If you decide at your consultation not to go ahead, we keep a standard deposit as the consultation fee.

Treatment and results

Your practitioner assesses you before any treatment and may decline a treatment that is not safe or suitable for you. Results vary from person to person with skin type, age, health and lifestyle, and we cannot guarantee a specific result.

For prescription anti-wrinkle treatment, we offer a free review at 2 weeks to make small adjustments. Extra product or treatment requested at a review may be charged.

For safety and insurance reasons, children cannot come into treatment rooms or wait unattended, and we ask that pets stay at home (assistance dogs welcome). Smoking is not allowed in or outside the clinic entrance.

Payments and refunds

Once we have performed a treatment, we do not refund it because you changed your mind. If you are unhappy with your treatment, tell us and we will review it with you. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

Compliments and complaints

We would love to hear about a good experience. If something went wrong, speak to your practitioner first. To make a formal complaint, email info@pureskinuk.co.uk with “Formal complaint” in the subject line. We reply within 5 working days.

Using this website

The text, photographs, videos and branding on this website belong to PureSkin or are used with permission. You may view and print pages for personal use. Please ask before using any content elsewhere.
