Hyaluronic acid is a transparent gel-like substance also known as hyaluronic acid or glycolic acid, which is found in the dermis and connective tissue of the human body and has moisturising properties. Hyaluronic acid is used in medical injections to smooth deep wrinkles, superficial lines, contour the features, lift and hydrate the skin.


Precautions before hyaluronic acid injection

1. Have a good communication with your doctor before the procedure.
2. Please inform your doctor in advance if you have any illness, are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking vitamins or other medication, or have any allergies.

Precautions before hyaluronic acid injection

1. Swelling, slight redness or bruising are normal after the procedure; wet ice packs can be applied 3 days after the procedure to help relieve swelling.
2. One week after surgery, you can enhance moisturizing and apply a mask (recommended: restorative mask) to increase water retention and lasting effect.
3. Avoid vigorous pressure and strenuous exercise for 2 to 3 weeks.
4. Avoid hot springs, ovens, saunas, etc. for hyaluronic acid application. For lip augmentation, avoid drinking hot drinks.
5. Avoid smoking, drinking and staying up late to avoid accelerating the metabolic loss of fillers.
6. Do not press or knead the injection site.

Contraindications to hyaluronic acid injection

1. If you have severe allergies, are known to be allergic to any of the components of hyaluronic acid, are pregnant or breastfeeding, are a minor, have a history of crab feet, have a history of coagulation, or are taking steroids, please inform your doctor in advance to assess whether you are suitable for treatment.
